Saki Corporation | Founder

Sakie Akiyama founded Saki Corporation in 1994 and served as President and CEO until 2018. The company established itself as a global brand in the electronics manufacturing industry, specializing in automated inspection systems that leverage image recognition technology. Drawing on her experience across entrepreneurship, advanced technology, global business, manufacturing, and women's leadership in these fields, she has taken on many public and professional roles.

She currently serves as an Independent Director of Mitsubishi Corporation and previously held outside directorships at Sony Group Corporation, ORIX Corporation, Japan Post Holdings Co., Ltd., and Lawson, Inc.
